Vivian's VIVs (Very Important Visitors!)

Gil commented that we need more photos up here to balance out my commentary -- so here's Vivian's "guestbook" with her distinguished visitors at the hospital last week and at home and about this week. Thanks for your visits, meals, and words of blessing and encouragement! We'd love to have you come by to meet Vivian, so please don't hesitate to get in touch with Gil or me if you'd like to pop by our apartment in the evening or on weekends.

Great Auntie Terry and Great Uncle Mo said that Vivian's strong little legs would suit her well as a marathon runner!

Auntie Asia with Vivian in a handmade "Auntie Loves Me" onesie... Auntie Asia has spoiled her rotten already with lots of adorable clothing and items for her nursery!
Pastor Elizabeth, who married us in 2011 and will baptize Vivian later this year at St. Mark's

Pastor Bekah from St. Mark's and Jo Chadwick popped in on a round of pastoral visits. Jo is part of Marisa's book group and brought Easter treats!

Great Uncles Bruce and Carl -- their cat Zeke and dog Zack sniffed around Vivian and gave her a seal of approval.

Cora and Cory from St. Mark's - thank you for treating us to a yummy Chinese dinner from our local northern Chinese haunt!

With "Ngin-Ngin" (Grandma Liz), who stayed watch with us when we got home from the hospital and helped with housework and providing meals

With "Paw-Paw" (Grandma Diana) and Uncle Nick

With Uncle Albert, Vivian's first (non-grandparent) visitor - we were his daughter Alison's first visitors in the hospital two years ago!
With Vivian's godmother Allana and "god sister" Linnea. Godfather Matt came to visit Vivian at home; Allana brought over a tea party for us to share!

Great Uncle Darryl's family, taking video to share with Great-Grandmother May (Vivian's middle name namesake)

Auntie Naomi, who's made dozens of lactation cookies, healthy snack bars, and breakfast muffins for the new parents

Some of the "immediate" Lau family (with Vivian in the lightbox), including Great Uncle Roland and Great Aunt June, who happened to be out visiting from Arizona
Auntie Sheila, who knows that our favorite "we are so hungry" breakfasts come from Tselog's on Mission Street
