| 6 Months! |
We've been so busy with milestones over the last month that I only now realize that we never updated the blog to reflect Vivian's six month'a'versary... so here are a few things we've celebrated this month:
-- Vivian has started interacting with solid foods! I hesitate to say that she is eating them - as she throws more on the floor than she ingests or even tries putting in her mouth - it appears that solids will be a slow-going process for the time being. We are pureeing solids and also offering her pieces of actual food, combining traditional solids with a philosophy known as "baby-led weaning". Nothing like seeing her squish yams in her hands or chew on kale...

-- Vivian is becoming MUCH more mobile than she was before... in a few weeks' time, she has gone from crying in frustration at not being able to roll from her tummy to her back, to rolling from her back to her tummy and then quickly pushing up into a sitting position -- and then trying to pull herself up onto boxes, the couch, etc!
Click here to watch a video of her pushing up.

| Look, Mommy, I'm pushing up -- and right on the edge of the bed too! |
-- We began sleep training at the beginning of October - I've described the process in great detail
in this Google Doc.

Though I haven't been as good at keeping up the blog as I'd hoped, I have been active on V's Instagram account -- if you're interested in checking it out, please let me know!
